THE CONSULTATION
Permanent brows stay with you far longer than the appointment itself, so I don’t believe the consultation should feel rushed. Approximately 30–40 minutes are typically dedicated to consultation and design before treatment.
Before treatment, we’ll take time to look at your natural brow growth, facial features, skin, previous permanent makeup if applicable, and what you do — or don’t — want from your brows.

I’m the artist behind Bad Girl Brows.
Before becoming an artist, I had a PMU experience that left me feeling rushed, uncomfortable and ultimately unhappy with my brows. It made me realize how different this experience could be.
With over 8 years of experience behind me now, I’ve built Bad Girl Brows around what I wished I’d had myself: time to talk, thoughtful guidance, individualized design, gentle treatment and clear communication.
I’ve worked with clients from around the world, with a wide range of facial features, brow patterns, preferences and skin types. Some clients come in with reference photos and a very clear vision. Others simply tell me, “I trust you.” I value both.
Your appointment is never just another set of brows to me.
THE EXPERIENCE
I intentionally keep my schedule limited so each appointment has the time and attention it deserves. From consultation and design through treatment and aftercare guidance, your appointment is handled personally by me.
A REMARKABLY GENTLE APPROACH.
Years of experience have shaped a controlled, gentle working technique, and topical numbing cream is used during treatment. Many clients become comfortable enough to fall asleep. Others spend the appointment chatting with me.
Comfort varies from person to person, but clients who have experienced PMU elsewhere often tell me they are surprised by how gentle the process feels.
WHY BAD GIRL?
Before I became an artist, I was a PMU client myself. I went into my first appointment knowing one thing: I wanted arched brows. I was repeatedly encouraged to choose straight brows instead because arches might make me look “too strong.”
I kept the arch. That experience stayed with me.
When I later created Bad Girl Brows, I wanted it to represent something different: not one particular brow shape, but the freedom to find the one that feels right for you. Some clients know exactly what they want. Others trust me to help them discover it.
Either way, your brows shouldn’t be chosen simply because one shape is popular, conventional or supposedly flattering on everyone.
It’s not about the arch. It’s about the choice.
DOES IT HURT?
Most clients are surprised by how gentle it feels, and many actually fall asleep. Numbing cream is used, so you may only feel a light scratching sensation. Sensitivity varies from person to person.
MICROBLADING, OMBRE OR COMBO — WHICH SHOULD I CHOOSE?
It’s completely fine if you’re not sure. During your consultation, we’ll look at your skin, natural brow growth, previous PMU, facial features and desired result, then decide together which technique is most suitable for you. One technique is not right for everyone.
WILL YOU SHAVE OFF MY NATURAL BROWS?
No. Your natural brow hair is kept. Only a few stray hairs outside the new shape are shaved to create a clean look.
CAN I SEE THE SHAPE BEFORE YOU START?
Yes. Your brows are mapped and designed first, so you’ll see the shape before the procedure begins. If you know exactly what you want, I’ll listen. If you’re unsure, I’ll guide you.
CAN YOU WORK OVER PREVIOUS EYEBROW TATTOOS OR MICROBLADING?
Sometimes. If the old pigment is light enough, a cover-up may be possible. If it is heavily saturated, blue or grey, or the old shape limits a new design, laser removal may be recommended first. Please send clear photos before booking.
DO YOU WORK WITH DIFFERENT SKIN TONES, ETHNICITIES AND BROW TYPES?
Yes. I’ve worked with clients from many backgrounds and with different skin types, brow patterns and facial features. Shape, pigment and technique are customized to the individual rather than using one template for everyone. Men’s brows are also available.
CAN EVERYTHING BE DONE IN ENGLISH?
Yes. You’ll communicate directly with Ellie in fluent English from booking through consultation, brow design, treatment and aftercare — no translator or translation app needed.
CAN I GET MY BROWS DONE WHILE VISITING SEOUL?
Absolutely. Many Bad Girl Brows clients book while traveling in Korea. Brow appointments are usually around 2–2.5 hours, so they’re easy to plan into your trip. If you won’t be able to return for a touch-up, just mention it during your consultation.
SHOULD I GET MY BROWS DONE AT THE BEGINNING OR END OF MY TRIP?
Either can work. If your trip includes swimming, saunas, heavy exercise or lots of sun exposure, it’s usually better to schedule your appointment toward the end of your trip. Flying itself is fine after PMU — just continue following your aftercare instructions.
HOW LONG DOES HEALING TAKE?
Visible healing usually takes around 7–10 days. During the first week, your brows may look much darker because of the scabbing. Once the scabs shed, the color can suddenly look very light or almost faded, then gradually deepen again as the skin finishes healing. The final healed color and overall result are usually assessed around 4 weeks.
HOW LONG DO PERMANENT BROWS LAST, AND WILL THEY TURN RED OR ORANGE?
Most clients enjoy their brows for 1–3 years or longer, depending on skin type, lifestyle, skincare and pigment retention. The pigments I use do not fade into red or orange tones. Over time, they simply become lighter and softer, leaving a subtle, natural-looking shadow that blends with your brow hair.
DO I NEED A TOUCH-UP? WHAT IF I CAN’T RETURN?
A first brow touch-up is complimentary within 2 months, but not every client needs one. Many international clients aren’t able to return, and careful aftercare can still lead to a beautiful healed result. If you’d like more definition later, you can always return for a refresher.
